Digital Marketing Pricing: How We Charge

Every Local Blitz plan is custom, so we don’t publish a price list. Here is exactly how we charge, what changes the cost, and what you get either way.

The short answer

What Does a Digital Marketing Agency Cost?

It depends on the work your business actually needs. At Local Blitz, we charge in one of four ways: a monthly retainer for ongoing work, a one-time fee for a project, a setup fee followed by a monthly fee, or a management fee with your ad spend paid separately to Google or Meta.

Your price comes from a custom plan, not a package. We build that plan after a free strategy call, once we know your market, your goals and where your marketing stands today. All of our contracts are month-to-month.

If your budget and goals don’t line up, we’ll tell you upfront. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll point you to someone who is.

Engagement models

How Our Pricing Works

Most clients use one of these models. Some combine two, like a website project followed by a monthly SEO retainer.

  1. Monthly Retainer

For ongoing work that builds over time: SEO, local SEO, AI search optimization, ads management, social media and email. You pay a set monthly fee for an agreed scope, and we report on progress every month.

  2. One-Time Project

For work with a clear finish line, like a website build or an audit. We scope the project, agree on the deliverables and quote one fee for the job.

  3. Setup Fee + Monthly Fee

Some services need heavy lifting at the start: tracking, account setup, listings cleanup or campaign builds. A setup fee covers that onboarding work. The monthly fee covers the ongoing management after it.

  4. Ad Spend Paid Separately

For paid ads, you pay Google or Meta directly for your ad spend. Our management fee is separate. You keep control of the budget, and you can see exactly where your ad budget goes.

Cost factors

What Drives the Cost

Two businesses in the same industry can need very different plans. These are the factors that move the price up or down.

  • Competition

A crowded market takes more work to win. If your competitors have strong websites and years of reviews, closing that gap takes more time and effort.

  • Number of Locations

Each location needs its own listings, local pages and tracking. One office and several offices are very different jobs.

  • Services & Channels

SEO alone costs less than SEO plus ads, social and email. Each channel you add needs its own setup, management and reporting.

  • Your Starting Point

A site with technical problems, or listings with wrong information, needs fixing before growth work can start. A clean foundation means less upfront work.

  • Content Needs

New service pages, location pages, blog posts and ad creative all take time to plan and write. More content means more hours.

  • Reporting & Tracking

Basic reporting on calls, leads and rankings is standard. Custom dashboards, call tracking across many numbers or multi-location reports add setup time.

Ad spend vs. management fee

These are two separate costs. Ad spend is what you pay Google or Meta for clicks and impressions, and it goes straight to them. The management fee is what you pay us to plan, build, monitor and improve the campaigns. When you compare agencies, check whether a quote mixes the two together.

Straight talk

Why We Don’t Publish Prices

Honestly, a price list would be easier for everyone. But it wouldn’t be accurate. Every plan we build is different, because every business starts from a different place and competes in a different market.

A posted package price usually means one of two things. Either you pay for work you don’t need, or the package leaves out work you do need and the extras show up later. We’d rather scope the work properly and give you one clear number for it.

So on the strategy call, we ask about your goals, your market and your current marketing. Then we tell you what we’d do and what it would cost. If the numbers don’t make sense for you, you’ll hear that from us first. If you’re still comparing options, our guide on how to choose a digital marketing agency covers what to ask any agency about pricing.

FAQ

Pricing Questions Answered

Do you require long-term contracts?

No. All of our contracts are month-to-month. We’d rather keep your business by getting results than by locking you in.

Do you charge a setup fee?

Sometimes. If a service needs onboarding work at the start, like tracking, account setup or campaign builds, we charge a setup fee followed by a monthly fee. We’ll tell you on the strategy call whether your plan needs one.

Is ad spend included in your fee?

No. You pay Google or Meta directly for your ad spend. Our management fee is separate, so you always know what goes to the ad platform and what goes to us.

Do you have a minimum budget?

It depends on the work. Every plan is custom, so we’ll tell you on the call what your goals would take. If your budget and goals don’t line up, we’ll say so upfront and point you elsewhere if we’re not a fit.

Can I start small?

Yes. Many clients start with one service or one project and add more later. Because contracts are month-to-month, you can grow the plan when it makes sense for your business.
